A: Yes, a recording goes with each character. Just click on a character or its definition to hear how it sounds.
Q: How is this organized?
A: There are 22 parts. Each part requires you to memorize about 100 characters. Each part has a self-test. The percentage of correct answers is shown at the end of each test.
Q: Is this a good way to learn Chinese?
A: When you have committed to memory the generally regarded minimum of about 2000 of the common characters that are here, you will be able to read and listen in the language and see how the words are used.
